Companion
The native workspace agent. It drafts, triages, and acts on mail with you — never behind your back.
What Companion is
Companion lives in the mailbox. It reads the same threads your team sees, drafts replies, and can assign or send when you give it the rope.
It is not a helpdesk bot and not a widget. Support is just one use of the inbox.
Per-alias policy
Each sending alias has its own Companion policy. You decide how far the agent can go on that mailbox.
| Policy | What Companion does |
|---|---|
| Draft only | Writes replies. A human sends. |
| Assign | Drafts and routes the thread to a teammate. |
| Send | Can send from that alias when the draft is ready. |
Set it per alias

Memory that stays in the mailbox
Cross-session memory and retrieval sit on the same mailbox. Humans and agents stop repeating themselves.
- Knowledge stays in sync with the sources you connect.
- Policy and memory are scoped to the organization.
- External agents use the same tools over MCP — they do not get a second inbox.
